I had seen one of these heaters at a friend's house.. It did a great job to take the chill off.. So I ordered one for myself... It came early and I am pleased with the performance

Good heater, thermostat and looks good. Annoying beep

This heater works very well next to my desk and the heater's thermostat works well and goes on and off to maintain the temperature. It is a nice design and is easy to use. The only really annoying thing is how loudly it beeps when you change the temperature or want to turn it off. I am often on the phone and there is no way to use the controls without a VERY loud annoying beep. It beeps three times when you turn it on, twice if you turn the power to low and then one very long, loud 2 sec beep if you turn it off. I marked it down because of this. I see no purpose in it being that loud or even beeping at all since there are lights that show what is happening.

Best heater ever.

I am very well pleased with the Lasko heater. It is portable enough to move from room to room. It heats very well and evenly. Also has high & low settings. I would recommend it to others. The only regret I have is I did not get the one with the remote control because of the price. I am glad I found it on Amazon .com.
