We use it in our son's room. Doesn't get hot to the touch. It's like his own personal furnace. You set it to your desired room temperature and it shuts off and turns on to maintain the temperature. We have a thermometer in his room and it truly maintains the correct temp. Downside is that there are no numbered degrees on the knobs. You just turn it on and when it gets to your desired temperature, then you turn the knob and it will maintain it from there. Love it...bought two!

Our nursery has a large window and gets a bit chilly for our baby. I ordered this heater after reading about its safety features and performance and I couldn't be more pleased. We've had this heater since he was a newborn (he's 4 months now). It keeps the room toasty warm and the plastic grille is cool to the touch so we won't have to worry about burns when he's older. I also like the thermostat feature which allows the heater to turn off and on to maintain a temperature you select. Great product and great quality.
