This heater works well and is very quiet. The only problem I have is that the thermometer is about 10 degrees off. If it is 70 in the room the thermometer reads 80. Therefore I have to set the thermostat 10 degrees higher than I want the actual room temperature to be. Its not hard to adjust to the difference but still it would be nice if I didnt have to.

Quartz heater great.

It took a bit to learn to set the thermostat about 5 - 10 degrees higher on initial heat up. Then reduce to desired temperature to maintain. Probably has an internal thermostat that reaches temperature faster than the room you're trying to heat and keeps shutting it down. Raising the temperature initially resolves that.

Great buy for the price.Heats up a room very well on high. Not instant but much faster than any radiant heaters.We have a poorly heated family room. 14' x 18'The high setting works well for warming the room, even when it's 10 degrees outside.The low setting is only for maintaining comfort from a mild chill in the room when it is 40 degrees outside.I would recommend this over any radiant heater (heater without fans)
