Perfect for the First Year-and-a-Half

I just read the 6 out of the 6 reviews for a virtually identical model, LH-884, of which all of the reviewers rated that model with one star. If you haven't read those reviews, I suggest you do so to keep these reviews in perspective. However, I must say--and I am highly critical of products I buy through the Internet--that all three of the LH-888 heaters that I bought a year-and-half ago are working perfectly. And I don't use the term "perfectly," lightly.I bought these units to heat up a very large living room in a country house I have in a very cold region of upstate New York to replace the annoyingly noisy in-built blower units that came with the house. So far, the LH-888 is one of the few products that I have ever bought, of which I have absolutely no complaints, even minor ones. Since this model seems so superior to the LH-884, I can only assume that the LH-888 is a later model (as its number would tend to suggest), and the manufacturer corrected the mistakes in the other model. But I should also mention that the unit I bought is gray, not white.However, what puzzles me is that the time frame of which the reviewers of the LH-884 model wrote was slightly later than the time in which I bought my units. And it seems unlikely to me that the manufacturer would have both models on sale concurrently. In any case, all I can say is that if you seek to buy the LH-888 mode, which I highly recommend, but for some reason cannot get it, do not--under any circumstances--settle for the LH-884. I believe what the reviewers of that model say about it being a worthless piece of crap.
